The issue we have is with the smoke. I realize it's been a smoking establishment since it started, but by 9 or 10 pm the smoke is so terrible and begins to fill up the entire place. For non-smokers trying to eat a steak dinner, it can be extremely off-putting.
Overall experience fun. Steaks much better than last visit. NY strip was a good size

First of all the lady at the front who takes your ID was very RUDE! She asked us for ID's and then told us to sign a paper when we asked what are we signing she rudely says this is a private club and you had to be a member (membership) but just the way she said it. She was very very rude. We were celebrating a birthday and I could have picked anywhere else to take our money but chose here, just to be treated bad is NOT RIGHT! I won't be going there again and will not recommend anyone to spend there hard earned money to get treated that way. Amongst other things that happened inside. Worst bday ever.........
Great place to go with friends. We love Wednesday nights for the 2 for 1 steaks. My husband always cooks them for us and they are great! Love the love band too!
We love SJ and have come here a hand-full of times since moving to the area. The steaks are great and we always bring our friends/family here when visiting Texas as it's a VERY Texas experience.
This place has all you can eat ribs on Wednesdays and they have dance lessons on Wed..very friendly waitress. Dance floor is huge. Love that place. Just too far.
What if there was just one Fri. or Sat. night per month that was non-smoking? Or what if one weekday night was a non-smoking night? My wife and I would go a lot more often if there was some sort of non-smoking option, but as it is, we only go every once in a while (once every 6 mo or so) and we don't stay past 10. If that ever gets changed or if a non-smoking option is added, we'll go much more. Thanks!
